Try these alternative treatments for your next headache:

  1. Eat 20 cherries (fresh or frozen) or drink a cup of tart cherry juice. Cherries contain anthocyanins which are a group of flavonoids (a family of phytonutrients) that gives some plants their blue or red color. Cherries are rich in anthocyanins which possess strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. According to the Michigan State University, “cherries are 10 times more effective than aspirin.”
